Prof. Dr. Mohammed Abdur Rahman presented research at Black Hat Middle East & Africa 2024 held in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia — one of the most prestigious global cybersecurity events. The presentation showcased advanced research at the frontier of AI and cybersecurity, drawing on active research programmes at the University of Prince Mugrin.

Research highlights presented included: autonomous multi-agentic systems for Security Operations Centres (SOC), AI-driven Operational Technology (OT) cyber defence for critical national infrastructure, swarm intelligence frameworks for threat detection, and the application of large language models (LLMs) in real-time cyber threat analysis.

Black Hat MEA brings together leading security researchers, practitioners, and policymakers from across the globe, and the conference serves as a key venue for advancing the cybersecurity research agenda in the Middle East region.
