Prof. Dr. Mohammed Abdur Rahman delivered a 60-minute guest lecture on 2 September 2026 at the Research & Innovation Unit Seminar of the College of Science & Health Professions, King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences, Riyadh. Speaking to PhD faculty and physicians spanning 14 fields, he argued that the rarest asset in applied AI is not compute — it is domain depth and clinical access under one roof, which a health sciences university already has.

Two live demonstrations ran on a simulated multi-agent AI hospital platform spanning 21 departments: an outpatient (OPD) scenario, where home sensors and patient-reported outcomes feed eight specialist agents that surface an urgent case — febrile neutropenia caught at home — with nothing happening until the physician signs; and a surgical vision scenario in the operating room, where vision agents learn from expert surgical practice.
