Official Visit to Madinah Criminal Investigation & Forensic Department

Prof. Dr. Mohammed Abdur Rahman conducted an official visit to the Madinah Criminal Investigation and Forensic Department — a key institution within the Public Security apparatus of Saudi Arabia. The visit explored opportunities to apply Artificial Intelligence and advanced cybersecurity technologies to digital forensics, criminal evidence management, and investigative analytics.

Discussions covered multi-agentic AI systems for evidence pattern recognition, OT security for critical investigation infrastructure, and potential joint research between the University of Prince Mugrin and the department, underscoring the growing role of AI in law enforcement and public safety across the Kingdom.
